The melody of Fal·lera Gironina

Elements the sweet shawm, a larger versión called the tarota, bagpipes and for percussion, the rope tension drum, snare drum, bass drum, and minor percussion

Throughout history, music has always been an indispensable element that has accompanied festival imagery in their performances. For the Fal·lera Gironina, not only is this the case, but it has become a noted element in all their shows and choreography. In fact, in a parade, the music is responsable for marking the beginning and the end, the rhythm, the culminating or diminishing moments, and help give character and personality to the show that we offer in the street.

As for the instruments, the sweet shawm (an oboe-like doublé reed woodwind instrument), a larger versión called the tarota, bagpipes and for percussion, the rope tension drum (field drum), snare drum, bass drum, and minor percussion.

The music played is of diverse origins and combines quite animated pieces with slow dances to provide a repertory appropriate to each circumstance required by a parade. From pieces belonging to the traditional músic repertory to new compositions, at times Little known, but that permit doing choreography suited to all the elements of the parade.
